ITALY, TUSCANY
11th - 16th  MAY 2025

CLAY | CULTURE | COOKING

OVERVIEW

CONNECT THROUGH CLAY

Join us on a 5 nights and 6 day stay at Il Baciarino, a place to come and stay, to escape from the bustle of the city and your busy life, and to unwind in nature; perfect for those who love unspoiled nature, endless views, fresh food, good wine and of course clay!

Freya Bramble-Carter, will take you on a clay experience like no other. The queen of clay will share her creative process encouraging you to connect with your inner selves and expand your skills.

There is no need to have any specific goals or expectations; instead, bring curiosity and a playful attitude as we explore different wheel thrown & sculptural techniques.

Each day will present the opportunity to reset your mind & body as you stretch out of your comfort zone with daily yoga/pilates practice, as well as plenty of time to rest and explore beautiful surroundings.

This retreat will also offer the unique opportunity to visit traditional olive groves, swim in the Italian seas and the chance to become a master of Italian food with a choice of cooking classes for you to enjoy, ready for everyone to eat together at dinner time.

WHERE YOU'LL BE STAYING

Il Baciarino

Perched on the side of the hilltop town of Vetulonia - a 3000+ year old etruscan village named after the moon.

Nestled in 19 acres of wilderness, Il Baciarino’s distinctly feminine energy encourages quiet meditation, connection with nature, slowing down, and complete relaxation.

Seven rustic stone cottages nestled into the mediterranean landscape look over the hills to the sea.  Recycled materials, old furniture, driftwood and beach stones, and handmade ceramics welcome each visitor, speaking of how little one needs to feel at home.

The best airport is Rome or Pisa.  From there, there’s a train to Grosseto. Transport will pick up from here and take you to Il Baciarino.
